That’s why we are creating Waldo – an intelligent alarm system for urban cyclists that keeps you connected to your bike anytime, anywhere. It is comprised of a device that is mounted on the bike and a mobile app. If someone is tampering with the bike, it triggers a loud alarm to scare off potential thieves and warn people nearby. Moreover, it notifies you on your smartphone. If the bike does get stolen, you can track it via GPS using the mobile app. The thief will have a hard time trying to take the device off, as it is electronically locked on the bike in a protective shell.
But the fun doesn’t stop here: if you ever run into technical problems, you can locate bike shops in your proximity using the mobile app.
Unlike other products on the market, Waldo is almost impossible to take off . This is due to its electronic locking system and its strong metal arm that keeps the device firmly on the bike.
