As a family office, we—the Hopkinson family—have invested our own capital in numerous early stage tech companies over the past several years. After receiving interest in our venture deals from other family offices and high net worth individuals, we decided to set up a formalized venture capital firm, and established Revelis Capital Group in January 2017. With this newfound access to outside sources of capital, we now look to take advantage of a broader range of venture opportunities in tech, and play a more active investment role that leverages our experience and contacts to add strategic value.
