See More ever sell tickets online. His street name in certain circles is “Father of the Online Ticket” (though of course he doesn’t look old enough for that to be true). After selling TicketWeb to Ticketmaster in 2000, Andrew went back to his roots as an event promoter, putting on events like the Virgin FreeFest with Richard Branson. But by 2008, he couldn’t ignore all the new technology that was paving the way for a better event technology company, so he got the band back together and co-founded Ticketfly, the first platform to bring online ticketing and digital marketing under one roof. He signed the company’s first contract with Pete Shapiro of the Brooklyn Bowl on a street corner in Williamsburg.

Today, with Andrew still at the helm, Ticketfly continues creating industry-first products that make the lives of venues, promoters, and fans easier. That includes Fanbase, a CRM for event professionals; Ticketfly Pulse, real-time event stats on your phone; and Ticketfly Promoter, a comprehensive talent booking tool. We’ve moved from doing individual deals on sidewalks (although that still happens from time to time) to working with more than 1,800 venues and promoters across North America.
