Our focus industries include: software, hardware, consumer products, IT, the Internet of Things, and payments. We have extensive networks in the industries in which we invest, resulting in a strong pipeline of deal flow, and the ability to introduce our portfolio companies to business development opportunities.
Caerus is a small team of four partners who are experienced entrepreneurs, operators and private equity investors with fund operations and deal structuring experience. We are committed to bring an institutional approach to Seed Stage and Series A investing. We find compelling investment opportunities at a stage earlier than most venture funds, many of whom have become too large to invest in early stage deals. We invest $250k-$1M in initial rounds, reserving another $1M-$2M for follow-on investments. Our philosophy is to take an active, hands-on role with companies; often spending 6-12 months tracking and advising companies prior to making an investment. This allows us to better evaluate the management team and business strategy. After making investments, we work actively with our portfolio companies. We believe that we can use our experience and vast networks to significantly impact our companies’ growth.
