Binge more TV, browse less with new app ‘Bingeworthy’

There’s a new social media app on the market that anyone who watches TV needs. It’s called Bingeworthy and was released in March 2020 on the App Store and Google Play Store....

It’s completely free for users. There’s no fee to download it, no in-app purchases, nothing.

There’s finally somewhere to share all of your opinions about TV series, seasons, and episodes -- And with people you actually know/who will care. You login to Bingeworthy with your Facebook account and your friends who are also on the app will automatically be added. Choosing what to watch is better with friends.

Users can rate (on a scale of five stars) and write reviews for the entire series, each season of a show, or even each episode of a show. View your own activity at any time, go to a friend’s profile and view all of their activity or their ‘Watchlist’ at any time. You will never run out of shows to watch again. Scroll through your feed for days to see what everyone is watching, loving, hating, starting, finishing, etc. Like their activity, comment on it, and tag users in comments.

You can also mark seasons or episodes as ‘Did Not Finish,’ because let’s be honest, not every show is for everyone!

Bingeworthy was created by Mary and Jordan Blanchard, who have been married since 2012 and live in Provo, Utah. They developed the app with help from Simform, and it is unlike anything else on the market. The Blanchards are more TV-show lovers than app people (they work at the same public high school), and wanted to get this app on the market for all the right reasons.
