360,000 older people have not had a conversation with friends or family for over a week.
Why does this happen? After all, we’ve never been more connected. Well, we're all so busy in our own lives that we switch off thoughts of later life. What's more, carers and nurses are rushed off their feet immersed in endless paperwork and form-filling. And ageing is seen as a burden.
And yet, we're all part of an ageing population so this could be any of us.
Can we really afford to be this disconnected?
Of course not! Which is why we've created a solution using technology that does two things:
First - we provide the public with a free to use App to celebrate the life stories of older people and share memories with those who matter most, with a personal timeline of photographs and stories and by connecting family and friends wherever they are in the world.
Second - we've designed a care platform that puts human stories at the heart of care.
