For more than two decades Rudi has focused on the search and development of anti-HIV drugs – a number of which have been approved and introduced on the market – and the development of diagnostic tools to allow personalized HIV treatment. Both his research and entrepreneurial career are driven by the needs of patients and a passion for advancing and medicine and leaving his mark.

Rudi is (co-)author of more than 150 papers in peer-reviewed journals and is the recipient of several awards for his scientific and entrepreneurial accomplishments.

Rudi has a PhD in Pharmacology from KU Leuven.
