He also led all digital marketing initiatives for the STAR network like Satyamev Jayate with Aamir Khan, Bond festival for Star Movies, Star Plus relaunch as well as new channel launches like Life Ok, Fox Action movies & Fox Crime. His work also won numerous awards and recognition globally.

Lalit was also part of the global digital leaders collective at Newscorp driving global digital strategy for the parent company. Lalit was also on the board of some of the companies Newscorp had invested in the digital space in India.

Having worked across industries like entertainment, education, sports, technology & marketing services, his role has been of driving strategy, building teams, managing p&L for various products,business development and strategic partnership management

Lalit is an Engineer, MBA having specialized in international marketing from IIM Kolkota with 15+ years of global experience in the space. Prior to joining Star, Lalit was the EVP & Head –Asia Pacific for Digitas, world’s largest digital marketing agency, part of the Publicis Groupe where he set up their entire APAC business across 7+ countries. Lalit started his career as an entrepreneur launching "service4u.com" and has also earlier worked for Indiatimes.com (Times Group) & NIIT.
